Syracuse, public competition announced for 99 positions for medical and veterinary managers

The hospital company of Syracuse (ASP Siracusa), with resolution no. 1484 of November 15, 2022 published in the Official Gazette no. 101 of 12/23/2022, has announced a public competition, based on qualifications and exams, for the permanent coverage of 99 vacant positions for medical and veterinary managers in the following disciplines:

• 12 positions: anesthesia and resuscitation;
• 20 positions: emergency and acceptance medicine and surgery;
• two positions: respiratory diseases;
• three: infectious diseases;
• two: hematology;
• five: geriatrics;
• five: physical medicine and rehabilitation;
• ten: psychiatry;
• one position: urology;
• one position: clinical pharmacology and toxicology;
• four positions: occupational medicine and workplace safety;
• one position: Medical management of hospital facility;
• two positions: neurology;
• 10 positions: obstetrics and gynecology;
• one position: otolaryngology;
• one position: radiodiagnostics;
• 12 positions: organization of basic health services;
• two positions: hygiene, epidemiology and public health;
• two positions veterinary manager: animal health;
• one position veterinary manager: hygiene of livestock and animal production;
• two positions veterinary manager: hygiene of the production, processing, marketing, preservation and transport of food of animal origin and their derivatives.

The application deadline is set for January 22, 2023.

Instructions for participation

The full text of the announcement of the public competition based on qualifications and exams, announced by the Hospital Company of Syracuse, with the instructions for participation, the disciplines involved, the admission requirements, the deadlines for submitting the application for participation, as well as the adopted evaluation of qualifications and the related documentation to be attached to the application, are published on the Notice Board of the Siracusa Hospital Company and on the company's Asp website.

In the full public announcement, the methods of evaluation of the exam tests and the methods of conducting the aforementioned tests, the method of formulating the ranking of the winners, the awarding of positions and the methods of communication to the winners of the competition will also be indicated.

It should be noted that participation in the competition is not subject to age limits. An important aspect, for the purposes of submitting the application for admission, concerns the "specific admission requirements", which must be possessed before the application deadline for the competition. Among the most important are the Specialization Diploma in the discipline subject of the notice you wish to apply for, authorization to practice the profession, registration with the professional board of the relevant order.

Possession of the general and specific requirements is mandatory under penalty of exclusion from the competition.

Regarding the evaluation of qualifications and the documentation to be attached to the application, it is very important, as already mentioned, to send the documentation electronically and it is also required to provide detailed information on previous work experiences, indicating the Entity where the service was performed, the type of contract held, as only work experiences with subordinate employment contracts will be considered and not professional or occasional collaboration relationships.

It is possible to include publications made in journals or printed publications and anything that may contribute to the professional career of the candidate. The Company at this point will proceed to verify the possession of the required qualifications and those presented and will communicate, via Pec, the admission or exclusion from the competition.

The assignment of scores based on the qualifications held is interesting, the assignment of the score for each qualification is indicated in the full announcement on the Company's website.

The date of the exam tests will be communicated to the candidate via Pec, and on the days set for the exams, candidates must present themselves with a identity card and at the scheduled time.

Deadline for submitting applications for admission

The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the public competition based on qualifications and exams expires on the thirtieth day following the date of publication of the notice published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic - 4th Special Series "Competitions and exams". (G.U. no. 101 of 12/23/2022), that is, next January 22.

Applications for participation must be written on plain paper and must be sent, including attachments, in a single file exclusively via personal PEC to the address concorsi@pec.asp.sr.it. All information on how to correctly draft the application and the information to be included, the authorizations for the processing of personal data and anything else that may be useful for correct completion are indicated in the full text of the announcement.

The Company does not consider itself responsible in any way for a missed communication or an incorrect way of completing the application, therefore it is very important to follow the instructions given in the announcement.

The Company also communicates that any other form of submission or transmission of the application for admission is excluded. Therefore, any applications received by other means will not be considered at all
